The Art of the Window

As an institution that platforms contemporary and experimental Black art and discourse, Long Gallery Harlem is proud to collaborate with curator and writer, Diallo Simon-Ponte on a six-month exhibition series in the LGH Window storefront display. Beginning in April and concluding in September 2025, five curators working in New York will be chosen by Simon-Ponte to each select an artist whose work will be featured in the LGH Window for one month at a time. This collaboration reinvigorates Harlem as a bustling center of Black artistic thought as the city prepares to welcome the reopening of the Studio Museum later this year. Information on selected curators and artists will be made available online in the weeks ahead.
