The Art of the Window

As an institution that platforms contemporary and experimental Black art and discourse, Long Gallery Harlem is proud to collaborate with curator and writer, Diallo Simon-Ponte on a six-month exhibition series in the LGH Window storefront display. Beginning in April 2025 and concluding in January 2026, five curators working in New York will be chosen by Simon-Ponte to each select an artist whose work will be featured in the LGH Window for six weeks at a time. This collaboration reinvigorates Harlem as a bustling center of Black artistic thought as the city welcomes the reopening of the Studio Museum this year.
